Animals Change As they Grow

All animals grow.

As they grow  they increase in both size and weight.

Besides an increase in size and weight, animals change in many

other ways as they grow.

Here are examples of some of the babies and the adult animals:

 1.   A kid grows into a goat.

2.    A chick grows into a hen.

3.    A duckling grow into a duck.

4.    A calf grows into a cow.

5.    A pup grows into a dog.

6.    A kitten grows into a cat.

7.    A calf grows into an elephant.

8.    A foal grows into a horse.

  1. I will say that this is a two in 1 worksheet. At one hand, students are learning science. On the other, they indirectly learn English as the proper name of those young animals are stated correctly. I discovered that students at all level (primary learners) face problem in using the correct term for these young animals. This is really an awesome job teacher. I hardly come across this type of creative presentations. Well done!
